Moorcrofts was established in 2000 by experienced corporate lawyer Adrian Phillips, with a vision to create a specialist firm that combined deep legal expertise with a strong commercial and financial mindset. Andrew Katz and Teri Hunter have been with Adrian for almost the whole of those 25 years. In 2015, Adrian stepped down as Managing Partner, handing over those responsibilities jointly to Andrew Katz and Teri Hunter. Teri became sole Managing Partner in 2023.
Today, Moorcrofts represents some of the biggest names in the world, serving an international clientele that ranges from entrepreneurs to US stock-market-listed companies. Based in the Thames Valley, the firm is strategically located at the heart of the UK’s technology hubs, with easy access to London, Oxford, Maidenhead, and Reading.
