Moorcrofts LLP has advised the shareholders of Pythagoras Communications Holdings Limited, the holding company of Pythagoras Communications Limited a leading UK technology company and Microsoft Gold Partner which provides professional services and solutions using technology platforms including Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, SharePoint and the Power Platform to Ernst & Young LLP.

The Moorcrofts team was led by Will Pearce (corporate partner) with support from Adam Forder (corporate associate), Heather Stewart (corporate solicitor), Tim Astley (Commercial Partner), Matt Jenkin (employment partner), Julia Ferguson (property partner).

Julian Stone, Pythagoras Communications Founder, commented:

“We delighted to work with Moorcrofts, who have been appointed as our corporate and commercial legal team since 2011. Will and Adam had a firm grasp of the details of what was a complicated deal, and worked to cut through to the key issues and guide us through what could have been a stressful process. The whole team at Moorcrofts worked around our busy schedule within a tight deadline to ensure a timely exchange and completion. We would be pleased to recommend Moorcrofts to others looking to sell a business.”

Will Pearce, Moorcrofts corporate partner, commented:

“We are thrilled to have advised Julian and Emma Stone and the shareholders of Pythagoras Communications, on their sale of such a fast growing and well-established business to one of the most respected firms in the UK. It was a pleasure to work with both Julian and Emma and we wish them and the company the best of luck in the future.”

DLA Piper acted for EY.
