Moorcrofts commercial property team has advised MMR Research Worldwide Limited and Healthcare Research Worldwide Limited on two new lettings in Central London.

MMR Research Worldwide Limited is part of the MMR Research Group, a global consumer market research agency that specialises in food, beverage, personal and household care research. Healthcare Research Worldwide Limited is a sister agency of MMR Research Group and is a market research agency specialising in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries. Moorcrofts has acted for MMR Research Worldwide Limited since 2022, assisting them in securing several lettings to expand their operations in Berkshire. The recent lettings were to enable the companies to exit their existing premises in London into separate offices, so each company can successfully expand their respective businesses.

Moorcrofts’ commercial property solicitor, Sharan Uppal led the legal negotiations for the tenants.

Sharan said:

“We were delighted to assist MMR Research Worldwide Limited and Healthcare Research Worldwide Limited with the acquisition of two new offices in a historical building in Southwark. These were fully fitted out and furnished offices, and the Landlord was in the course of refurbishing the building for such lettings. Time scales were tight as the grant of the new leases was subject to completion of landlord works but alongside ongoing building refurbishing works and the clients needed to take occupation before completion of such works. We were pleased to have successfully negotiated and completed the leases to meet the clients’ deadline enabling them to exit their existing premises at the end of the term and take up of their new offices.”

Christopher Rogers, Group Compliance Director of the Company, said:

“I’ve turned to Moorcrofts for legal advice time and again—not just for our recent lettings, but stretching back to around 2018. Our partnership began with guidance on broader legal matters, including work with our whisky distillery, Annandale, and it has grown into a relationship built on trust, expertise, and genuine support.

Most recently, during a high-pressure London letting, their team truly went above and beyond. The timing was critical, and thanks to their relentless commitment—continually nudging the landlord and keeping momentum—we successfully met our deadline, allowing two teams to move in seamlessly and on schedule.

I’m deeply grateful to the Moorcrofts team. Their dedication, responsiveness, and legal acumen have made them invaluable to us, and I couldn’t be more appreciative of everything they’ve done”.
