Matt Jenkin, Moorcrofts Employment Partner will join Howden’s Employee Benefits & HR thought-leader Steve Herbert, deliver Howden’s last Employment webinar of 2020.

The webinar, taking place on Thursday 10 December will cover the following topics:

Agenda and Timings

10:00 Delegate Log-In Commences
10:10 Welcome and Opening Comments
10:15 Delegate Voting

10:25 Employee Benefits: “Humbug!”
As the thoroughly miserable year of 2020 comes to a close, Steve will look at the past, present, and future of employee benefits provision. Subjects covered will be topical, but may well include protecting employees and employer productivity, support for worker financial wellbeing, and asking whether the cost of benefits should be viewed in an entirely new way in the years ahead. An unusual – but hopefully engaging – end of year assessment from Howden’s well known employee benefits and HR thought-leader.

Speaker: Steve Herbert, Head of Benefits Strategy, Howden Employee Benefits & Wellbeing

11:00 Delegate Voting/ Comfort & Cuppa Break

11:10 Employment Law: “A Bleak Midwinter?”
Matt Jenkin will provide some useful and informed comment on the employment law landscape following the closure of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme and the introduction of new measures including the Job Support Scheme and the Job Retention Bonus, as well as other topical and relevant employment law developments. As ever, a necessary session for all HR and Finance professionals.
