Incentivising Employees: What Do Employees Want? How to succeed in the “war for talent” is one of the key workforce issues that most organisations currently face. The ability to recruit and retain talented and skilled individuals is a key factor influencing the success of a business. With record levels of employment, an ever-increasing requirement for specialist skills, an emphasis on a diverse talent pool and the impact of Brexit still to be felt, businesses need to develop a comprehensive talent management strategy to incentivise employees to join and remain with them.

To help employers develop a strategy to ensure its workforce is incentivised, the Employment Team at Moorcrofts is hosting a free seminar where you can hear from a panel of experts with practical and accessible advice.

The seminar is suitable for: HR professionals, senior managers and business owners.

9:40 Using share options to reward employees and drive growth
For many employees access to share options is a key component of their employment package. Share option schemes can provide opportunities for a tax efficient way of rewarding employees and at the same time incentivising them to help drive the growth of the business, as they have a meaningful stake in its success. Matt Jenkin, Employment partner at Moorcrofts, will look at the benefits of share option schemes, the types of share option schemes available and what factors to consider when choosing a share option scheme.
Speaker: Matt Jenkin, Moorcrofts LLP
10:10 Employee benefits – what employers provide and what do employees actually want
Employers of all sizes invest significant time and/or money in the provision of pay and benefits packages to attract and retain employees. Yet few organisations actively revisit or effectively promote their offerings, and fewer still take the time to consider if the benefits on offer are genuinely appreciated by their employees. Steve Herbert, Head of Benefits Strategy at Jelf Employee Benefits, will explore this dynamic with the delegates with a view to providing relevant and effective benefits for both employees and the employer.
Speaker: Steve Herbert, Jelf Employee Benefits
10:40 Deliver greater staff satisfaction and productivity by engaging your team without additional cost
Staff satisfaction is not just about a good salary and benefits. There is a great deal of evidence to suggest that people are more interested in a good working culture and engaging your staff in all aspects of the business will go a long way to providing this. Getting your team involved will not only inform of any changes but will get feedback regularly and help create a culture that is engaged and will lead to increased efficiency and productivity. The process is straight forward and only requires’ an investment of time.
Speaker: Owen Hughes, Eyes Wide Open
