About Christopher McCormick
Christopher has over 15 years’ experience in the Technology sector. Now working at Moorcrofts as a paralegal, Christopher leverages his extensive tech and contracts management experience to support the firm’s predominantly tech focused clients.
Back in 2018/19 Moorcrofts successfully secured Innovate funding to help develop an AI driven contract management software, now known as ContrAI. From initiation, Christopher was appointed Moorcrofts lead for the project. He still is heavily involved as a project manager and legal adviser to the development team. The first phase of the ContrAI project is now coming to an end and ultimately a successful application has been developed. Phase two is now on the horizon.
Christopher’s “main job” is working as a paralegal in the Tech and IP team at Moorcrofts. Day-to-day work involves drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for clients. The work is varied and can range from simple NDA, licences or assignments to more complex agreements like service outsourcing, master service agreements and more complex licencing arrangements and assignments.
