Andrew Katz to speak at Berlin Conference | 14 June 2018
On Thursday 14 June 2018, Andrew Katz, CEO and Technology Partner at Moorcrofts, will speak at FOSS Backstage, an exciting new conference, taking place in Kulturbrauerei, Berlin.
The two-day conference, running from 13-14 June is dedicated to everything related to FOSS governance and open collaboration.
Andrew will be accompanied by Malcolm Bain, ID Law Partners and Mirko Boehm, Endocode AG who together will deliver a workshop entitled ‘Continuous Compliance – The Introduction, with OpenChain and Quartermaster’. The workshop will focus on the objectives of the OpenChain conformance work, the planning and processes involved and challenges met so far based on real life experiences.
Materials that are currently being used will be shared to work on creating better model documentation for this type of activity and discuss and eventually publish “best” practices. The speakers are looking forward to hearing and building on the experiences of the workshop attendees.
Other conference topics will include open source project leadership best practices, community management, open source project metrics, open source strategy for the enterprise, adopting open source collaboration in corporations, legal matters when dealing with open source and many more.
