Andrew Katz co-authors paper on the adoption of free and open source software in Swedish Schools
Technology Partner Andrew Katz visited Sweden several times last year in his capacity as Visiting Researcher at the University of Skövde, funded by a Swedish Government grant intended to attract international experts. Working alongside Bitr. Professor Björn Lundell, and Dr Jonas Gamalielsson in the University’s department of Informatics, the team has now published a peer-reviewed paper on the adoption of free and open source software in Swedish Schools.
The paper can be found here: http://www.ifosslr.org/ifosslr/article/view/108.
The team also published a paper on the adoption of open standards in Sweden, and have recommended a list of standards to be adopted by Swedish public sector in software procurement.
