About Leah Waller
Leah is an experienced employment solicitor, specialising in negotiating Settlement Agreements both from the perspective of the Employer and the Employee. She has extensive expertise in handling unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, with a significant focus on sex discrimination, as well as pregnancy and maternity discrimination. Leah is also the author of BabySteps: A Guide to Maternity Leave and Maternity Pay, published by Law Brief Publishing Ltd.
Career
Leah qualified as a solicitor after completing her Training Contract with a Hertfordshire-based firm, where she gained experience in Employment Law, Private Client, Civil Litigation, and Personal Injury. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for Employment Law, which has developed throughout her career.
Before joining Moorcrofts, Leah ran her own company, assisting business owners with HR advice and ensuring legal compliance when hiring staff. She has also provided consultancy services and locum support to regional and national solicitor firms across the country. Additionally, Leah has collaborated with Trade Unions to negotiate Settlement Agreements and has advised companies and senior executives on a variety of employment matters.

Personal
Leah enjoys spending time with her family, visiting Heritage Sites, Castles, Palaces and Churches, and travelling to explore new cultures and historical sites. She also enjoy keeping fit and is a keen Thai Boxer.
