Moorcrofts Corporate Law, is delighted to announce that it is a finalist in the British Legal Awards 2019, in the Boutique Law Firm of the Year category.

The British Legal Awards are the leading awards for the UK’s thriving business law community acting as a showcase for the achievements of one of the country’s most successful sectors. A defining feature of the awards is the credibility of the judging process as the winners are decided by an independent judging panel, chaired by Edward Sparrow, Chair of the City of London Law Society. The panel is made up of general counsel and other senior members of the legal community, including several former law firms managing partners.

Teri Hunter, Moorcrofts CFO and Head of Corporate said:

“We are thrilled Moorcrofts has been recognised for this award. The last 12 months alone has been an exciting time for us, from advising on a number of flagship deals to spear-heading innovative projects, partnerships and panel appointments. We take great pride in being an intensive targeted boutique firm, providing real expertise and in-depth experience and an exceptional service to our clients. We are continuing to grow, now boasting one of the largest corporate and commercial teams in the Thames Valley region and leading specialists in niche areas of tech law, such as free and open source software and software supply chain compliance.”

Moorcrofts is up against tough competition for the award with Arc Pensions Law, Beale & Company Solicitors, CM Murray, Hugh Jones Solicitors, Northridge Law, PCB Litigation, Signature Litigation also being shortlisted in Boutique Law Firm of the Year category.

Hosted by Legal Week in association with The City of London Law Society, the winners will be announced at the glittering awards ceremony on 21 November, 2019 at The Ballroom Southbank, London, which is set to be attended by 800+ lawyers, representing the crème de la crème of the UK’s legal community.
