Moorcrofts advises MCSA Group on sale of group
Moorcrofts LLP has advised the shareholders of MCSA Group (“MCSA”) on the company’s sale to Park Place Technologies (“Park Place”).
Originally founded in 1979 by Roger Timms, MCSA is an IT Services business which specialises in business-critical managed IT services. Park Place is a world-leading post-warranty data centre maintenance firm. The acquisition will provide Park Place with additional expertise in hardware maintenance, a large number of customers and significant knowledge of the UK public sector.
Moorcrofts’ corporate partners, Teri Hunter and Will Pearce, led the deal with support from Mohsin Shabbir. Employment support was provided by Matt Jenkin, commercial contract support provided by Tim Astley and Majid Mahmood and commercial property support provided by Julia Ferguson.
