Matt Jenkin, Moorcrofts Employment Partner will speak at the next Jelf Employment Seminar on Tuesday 17 October at South West’s newest tourist attraction, Aerospace Bristol.
With the ever-changing employment legislations, together with the uncertainties of Brexit, and the transforming political landscape, Matt’s talk, entitled: ‘An update on all the key Employment Law changes’ will focus, firstly on:
Employment Data – with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into force from May 2018, Matt will look at what GDPR means for employers and the practical steps needed to comply with these requirements from a HR perspective.
Secondly, Matt will consider whether employers are in for a bumpy flight with the recent Supreme Court case abolishing Employment Tribunal fees, and provide his thoughts on the recently landed Taylor Report, and what this could mean for employment status issues going forward.
