Andrew Katz speaks at FOSDEM | 29 January 2016
Andrew Katz, head of technology law at Moorcrofts, visited FOSDEM in Brussels from 29th to 31st January 2016. FOSDEM is one of the world’s biggest Free and Open Source Software events, attracting over 5,000 delegates from over the world, including a large number of Moorcrofts clients and professional colleagues.
Andrew was invited to speak on the legal definition of distribution in the context of free software licences (it’s more interesting than it sounds!), with an introduction from Associate Professor Björn Lundell, with whom Andrew has been collaborating on academic research at the University of Skövde in Sweden.
If you would like to learn more about this event, you can download Andrew’s slides or visit FOSDEM.
