Moorcrofts advises the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (“NRAS”) on its move to new premises at Grove Park, Maidenhead.

Moorcrofts Commercial Property Team has advised the NRAS, a national charity supporting people living with rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis, on its exit from existing office premises at The Switchback in Maidenhead and a new letting at Grove Park, White Waltham.

Moorcrofts’ Commercial Property Partner, Julia Ferguson, led the legal negotiations for NRAS.

Julia said:

“We were very pleased to assist the NRAS with their move into new premises at Grove Park. They came to us for advice as to their options in relation to their existing Lease, as the premises had become surplus to their needs following a move to hybrid working after the pandemic. Together with their property agent, Sharon Holbrough of Property Dynamics Consultancy Limited, we discussed various scenarios and ultimately assisted them with the exercise of their upcoming break option and a dilapidations settlement whilst at the same time negotiating Heads of Terms and subsequently a Lease of new premises in Grove Park. We wish then much success in their new premises”.

Helen Ball, director of finance at NRAS commented:

“Exercising a break clause and relocating offices in a tight timeframe is a challenging exercise and we were pleased to be able to complete this process smoothly with the help of Julia and her team. We would have no hesitation in recommending Moorcrofts Commercial Property department.”
