Sophie Philcox Manners

Sophie specialises in commercial law, with experience advising in cross-border contracts, commercial regulations, export controls and sanctions compliance. She also supports clients with domestic and overseas due diligence investigations and provides guidance on distribution, trading and service agreements, as well as warranty disclosures, helping businesses navigate complex transactions.

Career

Sophie trained at HCR Law in its Reading and London offices, and qualified into its commercial department in March 2025. She gained extensive experience advising clients on a wide range of commercial matters and now builds on that experience as part of the Moorcrofts team.
