Moorcrofts announces promotions
Moorcrofts is delighted to announce the promotion of Sharron Bartlett to Associate Solicitor, recognising her expertise and significant contributions to the firm.
Sharron, a compliance specialist, has built a distinguished career in the legal sector, bringing a wealth of experience from various law firms across Bristol and South Wales. Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2008, she has worked across civil litigation, personal injury claims, and legal training before transitioning into compliance in 2018.
Before embarking on her legal career, Sharron worked as a local newspaper journalist in Somerset. She later became a paralegal, specialising in personal injury claims for motorcyclists, securing treatment and compensation for her clients.
In 2013, she shifted her focus to legal training, teaching negligence and litigation before moving into compliance. Her expertise in regulatory requirements and risk management was honed at a mid-sized law firm offering a broad range of legal services, including those for commercial clients.
Since joining Moorcrofts, Sharron has played a vital role on compliance matters and is an expert on ensuring that compliance frameworks remain robust and aligned with industry best practices. Her promotion reflects her dedication, professionalism, and the value she brings to both the firm and its clients.
Moorcrofts is also pleased to announce that Ashwin Sangha is taking the next step in his career with the firm as he begins his training contract. Ash joined Moorcrofts as a corporate paralegal and has already gained valuable experience within the team, assisting on a wide range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, incorporations, and EMI share schemes.
Teri Hunter, Managing Partner at Moorcrofts, said:
“Sharron’s promotion is well deserved. Her deep knowledge of compliance, combined with her commitment to maintaining the highest regulatory standards, makes her an invaluable asset to the firm. We are delighted to recognise her contributions and look forward to seeing her continue to thrive in her new role.” Teri continues: “Ash’s transition to a trainee solicitor marks an exciting new chapter in his legal career, and we look forward to supporting his continued development at Moorcrofts.”
