Jelf Group Employee Benefits Seminar | 18 April 2018
Matt Jenkin, Moorcrofts Employment Partner will speak at the next Jelf Employment Seminar on Wednesday 18 April at another excellent venue! This time in London at The Imperial War Museum which tells the stories of people’s experiences in modern war and conflict.
The recent years of political turmoil has left many businesses concerned and confused about what the future may hold. Employers in all sectors are therefore seeking to reorganise to face the challenges of the future. The impressive line-up of speakers will help answer which areas employers should focus on, and how to commence such a process.
With the Government now having published its response to the Taylor “Good Work” report, Matt will look at within his talk, which parts of that report the Government intends to implement, the proposed changes to employment law that may follow, the timescale for change and the likely impact on businesses of those changes.
Matt will also look at other important changes to employment law including the issue of consent to the processing of employee data under GDPR and changes to taxation of termination payments.
Other talks and speakers at the seminar include:
- A look at the many benefits of Meaningful Work with Katie Bailey
- Insights into the UK’s rather worrying Workforce Crisis by topic expert Julia Howes
- A review of the complex and changing world of Employee Benefits with Steve Herbert
