How it started

Our client, a global car rental company, is at the forefront of embracing the latest technology to meet user demands. It is also operating in a sector where there are significant changes on the horizon such as a move to zero emissions and shared mobility. Our client’s legal team needed us to assist them to put in place a contract with a corporate customer for the rental and use by the customer’s staff of electric vehicles through the use of an app. 

What we did

The client had existing agreements in place which we used as a basis for the new solution. We built in app related provisions, financial provisions clarifying payments by the customer and the end user, various obligations relating to the vehicles on site and use. 

How it helped our client 

We created a customised contract to meet the client’s requirements and were able to support their in-house legal team.
