How it started

Our client is a Global UN organisation. The brief was clear – the client wanted us to produce a handbook dealing which developers or anyone involved in the mobile app space could use to understand key concepts such as IP and contracts when involved with mobile apps. The client did not want complex legalese. The challenge was some of the topics such as intellectual property rights and concepts around them are difficult to explain in plain English and in a simple format. 

What we did

There are many issues that we could talk about but we really needed to focus on the key ones to create a simple easy to understand framework. Once, we had done that, we need to consider various aids to make the handbook easily navigable. 

How it helped our client 

The above approach resulted in the creation of a handbook in plain English to help including developers as well as other users in the mobile app space. We used checklists, summaries, diagrams, flowcharts as aids to help with complex issues. The handbook was well received so we were asked as part of another project to deliver three webinars for attendees in three countries. We received great feedback from the delegates of these countries.
