On Thursday 23 November, leading law firm Moorcrofts transformed Marlow Rowing Club into a hub of knowledge and camaraderie for a charity quiz in aid of Thames Valley Adventure Playground. The event drew 11 teams into the spirited competition of a pub-style quiz, resulting in an outstanding fundraising total of £1190.

The winning team, hailing from Charles Fussell & Co LLP, claimed the coveted title with each team member being awarded a £25 restaurant voucher, sponsored by the Botanist and a bottle of fine wine.

The evening’s success was not limited to the quiz alone. A vibrant raffle took centre stage, featuring an array of fantastic prizes generously donated by local businesses and the teams themselves, including: Charles Fussell & Co LLP, Hicks Baker, Mercers Solicitors, Richardsons Chartered Accountants, Saffery, Handelsbanken, Quantuma Advisory Ltd, PCB Technical Solutions Limited, Leywood Estates, Choice Business Loans, Rebellion Beer Co, Cecily Medi Spa, Hewetts, Renaissance, The White Company, Space NK, Burgers of Marlow, Tara Rule Coaching, Marlow Book Shop, and more.

Julia Ferguson, Head of Moorcrofts’ Charity Committee, expressed her delight, stating:

“We were thrilled to have raised such a fantastic amount to support the invaluable work carried out by Thames Valley Adventure Playground. Thank you to everyone who participated in the quiz and to all the businesses who generously contributed to the raffle.”
