You will be a lawyer with a proven track record of advising landlords and tenants on freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals of commercial premises as well as conditional contracts and pre-let agreements subject to planning and works; transactional landlord and tenant work; commercial development and secured lending.
You will be used to handling your own caseload of varied work, with attention to detail essential and be confident to take matters forward using your own initiative. You will be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of the law and the ability to work in a fast-paced commercial property team, to tight deadlines with a high level of
communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also need to show a commercial approach to matters and be able to advise on the best method of structuring a transaction to achieve the best results for the client.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual with 5+ years PQE, who is self motivated and confident with the ability to create a positive impact on colleagues and peers. You will need to be willing to contribute to the business development of the Team and in turn will have the opportunity to be involved in the future direction of the Team.
The successful candidate would be working with the Commercial Property partner Julia Ferguson and an experienced paralegal and would also be providing support to the corporate team, advising on the property aspects of business sales and acquisitions.
The role is based at our office in Marlow. Ideally, we are looking for somebody living in or around Marlow or prepared to move to the local area.
